“…her objectives as a photographer remained consistent: to explore the interior lives of people and places and to make images that resonate broadly”
Morgan is a freelance photographer currently living in Denver, Colorado. Originally from Philadelphia, she lived and worked in New York and San Francisco for many years.
Morgan worked as a fine art photographer for many years after graduating from NYU with degrees in photography & art history. In recent years she’s transitioned to the editorial realm as well as feeling a moral and creative imperative to use photography to engage more directly. However, her objectives as a photographer remained consistent: to explore the interior lives of people and places and to make images that resonate broadly.
In recent years her editorial work has been featured in US and international publications including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Esquire. Her fine art work has been included in numerous exhibitions including a solo show at the Gulf & Western Gallery, group exhibitions at the New York Photo Festival, the Invisible Dog Art Center, Winkleman Gallery, Milk Studio Gallery, the Lower East Side Girls Gallery and Texas Woman’s University.
